    It feels different when they tell you “they could have just discussed it from the beginning” after having this war carry on for two thirds of your life. Hearing “its to protect our freedom, it’s to protect our freedom”, but then having someone who has been there for so long say “yeah, we’re not protecting anyone. We have no win conditions. We’re literally just there to kill people for the governments sake” really made me fully realize that these wars won’t ever actually have an end. We’re not going to have some day where they can finally say “mission accomplished, come home” because they want to keep it going as long as they possibly can to keep the military industrial machine going.

    I’d show my family, but they deepthroat the boot of anything and everything military (unless the person in question is black, then they are on their own) and would tell me that the whole thing is made up.
