    People in St Louis jail revolt against the inhumane and horrific conditions inside, which have only gotten worse since the start of covid. This prison has been the site of protests since 2017 because of its uncleanliness, brutal working conditions, and violent and inept guards. Hundreds of people have been waiting to receive their court dates for two, three, or even five years now, in a state of indefinite imprisonment, which is being extended further under the justification of covid. This is the third uprising since December 2020. The inmates’ demands for proper medical care, court dates, and fair treatment from correctional officers have still not been met. Covid protocols are not being followed at all and inmates are often refused medical attention and exposed to disease by correctional officers and arbitrarily punished.

    Read their statement from February 6th on the extent of the misery and degradation they have been subjected to in this violent system. These people are not disposable and do not deserve to be treated as such! Revolutionary love and solidarity to all those incarcerated & struggling to be free.

    Hey it looks like black lives matter protests are going to be kicking off in force soon so this is just a friendly reminder from your local Street medic to not let a stranger put anything but clean drinking water into your eyeballs.

    Do not wear makeup to protests where you suspect that tear gas will be used.

    Wear all black, or mostly black, comfortable running shoes, and cover up all tattoos.

    It is likely that the police are going to be using more force this summer than they were last summer. If you have the money and ability to do so, I suggest putting together a small medical kit or possibly even an IFAK. Even just two water bottles and some bandages, helps our medical supplies go further, last longer, and allows us to help more people.
