    in other news our competitor has started hiring scabs so if you shop at ANY stores under the kroger umbrella pls do not shop there if you are in Oregon** or Colorado. i know im forgetting some states feel free to add on to this but we only have a few negotiation sessions to go before ours and Kroger’s contracts expire.

    **OREGON KROGER EMPLOYEES HAVE AUTHORIZED A STRIKE. DO NOT SHOP THERE. DO NOT CROSS THE PICKET LINES.

    UPDATE AS OF 12/20/2021 !! It looks like they’ve ended their strike!!! This isn’t the end though – grocery contracts all over the country are due to expire soon. If your local grocery store employees go on strike, don’t cross the picket lines!! I’ll keep yall updated if more stores strike. COLORADO KROGER & SAFEWAY/ABLERTSONS NEGOTIATIONS ARE STILL GOING ON WITH UFCW LOCAL 7. Our contracts expire in January!!

    - UFCW Local 7 has filed a lawsuit against Kroger for hiring 3rd party workers to complete work meant to be done by members of the bargaining unit

    - THEY ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON PICKET SIGNS AS WE SPEAK. There has been no vote to authorize a strike yet. Updates coming early January
