    Stairs in rainbow colors in Beyoğlu, İstanbul was re-colored to gray on August 30 by municipality workers. Topic #direnmerdiven (translated as resist stairs) became trending quickly and this is how public responded today, by simply coloring stairs, pavements and walls with rainbow colors, not only in İstanbul but also in cities including capital Ankara, İzmir, Diyarbakır, Batman and more.
