Why are so many people so hateful to cats like the vast overwhelming majority of cats I’ve met were very open and friendly with the exception of people who were dicks to them.

If someone says to me they hate cats because cats are mean I automatically take it to mean “I pick on small animals then get offended when one won’t tolerate me”
