    god the CPR training at work today completely excluded any information that would have been crucial to reviving a woman and completely focused on possible cardiac arrest in men. there was a disclaimer at the start of the video that was literally like “for decency purposes, we’re gonna focus on men.”

    if i ever go into cardiac arrest i hope i’m near someone who knows to clip/remove my underwire before using an AED, because they sure as hell didn’t find that important enough to mention in the training materials. 

    if i gotta see some dude’s nipples on a training video i sure as hell better not die because someone was too squeamish about mine.

    Women are 27% less likely to receive cpr from a bystander, presumably for this exact reason.
