    A tender moment, a nesting pair of Great Crested Grebes. While one sat on the nest, possibly incubating eggs, their partner was swimming about grabbing more material to add to the nest. As with many other grebe species, they have an incredibly elaborate courtship dance, which I’ve been lucky enough to witness myself only once.
