    Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, a former chairman and CEO of Nestlé, called the idea that water is a human right “extreme.”

    Nestlé is also responsible for hooking up millions of parents in low-income countries with infant formula, handing out samples and tricking them to believe it’s better for the babies, while these families have no means of preparing formula safely, with clean water, or the means to clean their equipment. This resulted in tens of thousands of babies getting sick with diarrhea or getting underfed, because by the time families realized they couldn’t afford it, breastmilk had dried up.

    For this reason the WHO called to life the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes in 1981.

    Guess who is still a violated of this code, 40 years later…

    Boycott Nestle.
